Ayutthaya was one of the most important and great ancient capital of the Kingdom of Thailand in the old days. Nowadays, Ayutthaya is one of the most impressive ruined cities in Asia. UNESCO declared the Ayutthaya Historical Park a World Heritage Site in 1991. Ayutthaya is not far away from Bangkok. (It is just about 85 kgs. north of Bangkok.)
